Welcome to the extravagant 2027 Met Gala: “Intrinsic Threads”, a theme that dives deep into human personality traits, all centered around the mystical Enneagram, a personality mapping system. Guests are invited to represent these traits of their personality type, to “Embrace you”. The design of this wonderous Met Gala project shows off a carefully hand-lettered typographic lockup and small impactful vector illustrations in the various triangular shapes, with each illustration carrying story-based thematic elements relating back to the theme of the nine personality traits. The color palette focuses on the dark and bright parts of these traits with the deep blue and rich gold hues.
